An amazing place to stay. Food was awesome, pub was excellent, room was great, and every single staff member we encountered was absolutely incredible. They treated us like royalty.

I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in the area. Booked in here last minute after another hotel in the area ended up being such a let down that we’d rather spend the extra money to enjoy our night. The rooms are lovely and newly renovated, very comfortable and modern. The restaurant food was lovely and likely to be some of the best in the area, and the bar was very comfortable. All of the staff were absolutely lovely and were complete lifesavers for accommodating us with literally 15 minutes notice from the time of booking!

Another great find, just off the main roads it was a warm welcoming place with good professional and humorous staff. Rooms were very good and has an excellent bunk house out back with superb kitchen facilities. Well worth adding it to your list.

(Didn't stay here so can't comment on the rooms) Food and service at the restaurant were absolutely brilliant. Atmosphere was impeccable and menu was really easy to navigate with food allergies. Shout out to Aaron in particular for being absolutely amazing!

I mean… the FOOD!!! Yes, the rooms are nice and clean, but the food!!!!! We had tomato and chilli soup which was so good and we asked if it was possible to get some sour cream and the chef had made it for us! Also had the asparagus salad! Mains were fish and chips and the mushroom risotto and everything was just delicious!!! The service is really good (we had Ciara) and she was very considerate, she checked in several times. I would drive up here again just for the food!

Called in last minute for lunch no problem for the staff, was able to park motor home in the large carpark to the left of the building. As it was sunny was able to eat in the courtyard at the rear on the bench seating with a welcome parasol for the dog. Staff brought out a bowl of water for the dog. Food was very good and service was friendly. The prawn dumplings were delicious as were the mussels in a creamy white wine sauce. Fish and chips were nice but it was haddock not cod, seems to be hard to find locally. Salad was tasty with pears and cheese with pancetta. Great location just of the A82, spent about £45 for two starters two cokes and two smaller main meals. Defo worth a visit
