Excellent location at top of the town. I had a small but very comfortable room with a nice sea view for one night either side of a trip to the Isle of Mull. Plenty of car parking space and easy to find. The hotel is comfortable enough and has a pleasant bar and seating areas. The evening meal was very pleasant but the choice limited to only a handful of options. Nonetheless, very well presented and well cooked. Breakfast was excellent. The staff too were really lovely and very helpful. I enjoyed my time here and would choose this hotel again if visiting the area. Many thanks!

A 5 star review for this hotel. Attentive, diligent and welcoming staff, in an old-timer building that has so much charm and good vibes to it. Beautiful old-timer building, well maintained, the furnishings feel clean and new. And the food is just as satisfying. Comparatively, this 3 stars hotel is much better, way ahead of other 3 star hotels I’ve been. The rooms are quiet and cozy, decorated with more care and attention than could be expected. Practical details like a hair drier and an iron made my stay easier. A top of the notch place, we must give credit to Muthu Hotels, and of course, to the dedicated staff that animate this beautiful landmark of a hotel.

had a great 2 night stay - room was clean, very comfy and well appointed. Staff were very pleasant and welcoming. Really nice bar / reception area with outstanding view to sit, looking right across Oban Bay. Breakfast was good and plenty of it. Good location with plenty of onsite parking, a 15min stroll into the main town area. First time here but won't be the last

I am staying at this hotel for 7 days. My trip through the UK has been ruined by hot hotel rooms that have no air-conditioning. But within the first night here I slept fantastically. The hotel is very spacious. Dining room for breakfast is large and there is a big choice for eating. My room is a small compared to other hotels I have stayed in. But it does have a brilliant view over the water and islands.

Staying over as participating in Lorn Drama Festival. Lovely old style ornate hotel. Room was spacious, clean, fully accessorised for a longer stay with a big bathroom and a big screen tv. Super comfy bed and a lovely view of the bay. Buffet breakfast was very good. Staff very friendly and helpful. Only criticism was the till in the bar having insufficient change every time I used it.

What a fantastic find we were upgraded the junior suite which had a fantastic view of the sea . The breakfast was great a good variety of continental and cooked foods . The staff were friendly and always made sure you were comfortable. Definitely will ge using this hotel for my next trip to oban
