Just back from a 2 night stay, hotel is beautiful and the staff who are all young could not be more helpful or attentive. it was not a problem to cater for my wife who is gluten intolerant. Highly recommend No 17 The Promenade.

This hotel is exceptional. It is so beautifully curated, elegant, colorful, and inviting. When I travel I typically want to explore the area but I was reluctant to leave this beautiful hotel. The staff was so helpful, warm and friendly, especially Innes and Owen. They were always willing to help and with a smile. The view was gorgeous. Parking available for our rental car. Just a short walk from downtown which was enjoyable to take in the scenery, They have a fantastic restaurant on the premises and the breakfast included was so delicious and filling to start our day of exploration. No need to deliberate. Just book. You will not be disappointed.

Delightful place -- very friendly staff in remarkable facility. In restaurant, food is spectacular! However, both wine list and table service "need work". We learned that a new GM (who has restaurant experience) in inbound -- so improvements may be forthcoming! Sarah is a superstar -- terrific lady!

I dined in the restaurant Porchini on Friday night. The food was delicious. Best Italian food I've eaten in Oban. Great wine. Our server was called Owen and he was very friendly, attentive and knowledgeable about the food. Nothing was to much trouble. Open kitchen. Lovely views and great decor throughout.

The hotel and the stuff is absolutely breathtaking. My wife is super good in finding nice location but this time she did just perfect. Cosy atmosphere, excellent food, the feeling that you are at home, nice view - all that calls for staying here for good. We are very thankful to the manager in particular and his team. Thank you!!!!

This hotel could not possibly be more charming. The interior design is fabulous. Modern, yet classic, warm and inviting, stylish, and well curated. It's everything somebody could ever want in a chic small boutique hotel. I did not want to leave. The living room, with the fireplace, is just a magical place to sit for a rainy afternoon with a good book. Dinner was awesome- highly recommend booking a reservation for a meal here. 10/10 stars all the way!!!
