I am a staff member here. I've worked in various hotels and with all honesty this is one of the loveliest places to stay in. We take pride in making sure guests are welcome and diligently make sure room are spotless. We are also now open at 2pm every day to the public for teas, coffees and snacks such as scones. We have a beautiful view overlooking Kerrera, Maiden Island and Dunollie Castle. You have the option of sitting on or sitting outside in the garden. We are located in a more quiet area of Oban so if you are looking for a more serene spot, here is the place to be. :)

Our stay at the Manor House was the highlight of our trip to Scotland. The staff were truly exceptional and knowledgable. My husband is very interested in history, and Daniel gave him a very detailed tour of the House and answered all of his questions with aplomb. We felt very welcomed and cared for, and the staff had pre-arranged for a special vegan meal for us. Our server, David, was outstanding. The food was incredible--we live in Los Angeles where we have some of the best vegan restaurants in the world, and yet this hotel in a seaside Scottish town provided one of the best meals I've ever had in my life. Every aspect of our stay was memorable and perfect, and I cannot thank the Manor House staff enough for giving us such an incredible stay. I do hope to visit again someday.

Couldn't find fault with this delightful hotel. The rooms are individually designed and so cosy, lovely toiletries in the bathroom. Dinner was excellent , especially the puddings- recommend the chocolate pave! Daniel the owner was friendly and welcoming and manager David was incredibly helpful and both so knowledgeable about the gins, whiskeys in the bar - would definitely stay again

That feeling of joy when you discover a beautiful place. Outstanding venue. Outstanding staff. Lovely gardens. Exquisite food - the best of our week long adventure (Scallop starter is our recommendation!) Be mindful that this hotel sits on a working harbour yet the hotel is extraordinarily peaceful. We also recommend walking the short trip into town and go exploring. It has some surprising buildings and quirky things to discover. A lovely hotel and a lovely short stay.
