A great Victoria built hotel that has been refurbished many times and has very good decor with modern bedrooms offering teasmade and a range of toiletries. Lounge area and a restaurant serving excellent food. Staff are polite and friendly, parking is on street, unfortunately there is no lift and the building is spread over three floors. The views over the promenade is well worth the climb. The hotel is close to shopping and the wonderful eateries and pub night life, bus stops and ferry terminal are yards away. This is a very enjoyable hotel from which to enjoy Rothesay and the Isle of Bute.

Amazing Staff and amazing food . Very reasonably priced. Kept the restaurant opened out of season hours especially for us as we made an unplanned visit after our wedding making our special day that bit more special. Honestly can't thank them enough. Lovely people. Mr and Mrs Blaikie. Thanks Angela

Victoria's restaurant is hands down the best quality breakfast on the Isle of Bute. Just add an extra sausage. All the ingredients in their breakfast are by far the best quality that you will find on the island. Nowhere else serves a proper decent quality butchers sausage. These were chipolatas when I went, which is why I say order another one or two, depending on your appetite. Absolutely delicious. Highly recommended. The staff are friendly and polite without being obtrusive. Bathrooms are very clean. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you all.
