Very good location for Arrochar Munro’s. Deserves 5 stars for the excellent accommodation. Very good value. A special mention to whoever cleans the rooms each morning, you deserve credit for your hard work, thank you very much. In general very friendly staff and a pleasant stay. Almost spot on but the breakfast could be better. Warmed up pre-cooked pastries, hot water jugs to make the tea and cheap bread for the cooked breakfast - there’s room for improvement here. Certainly not the staffs fault, allocate more budget on making the offerings a better standard.
One of the cutest pubs I’ve ever stayed in. Lovely food withe some very decent vegan options for breakfast, lunch and even dessert. Very tasty local ales too. The rooms are very comfortable and we’ll decorated and the staff were ever so nice and efficient. Dogs are welcome and they even get treats! Definitely fell in love with Arrochar and The Village Inn!
Lovely stay in such a beautiful hotel. Checked in and served at dinner by Edith, great friendly service and looked after us for our 2 night stay. Bar staff were great too. Dinner was lovely on both nights, although there were some items missing from the menu, but there was still lots to choose from. Drinks were a little expensive but the overall experience was fantastic. Can’t wait to visit again!
AMAZING!! We have just been for a family meal, we are staying at the cabins at forest holidays so this was perfect for an evening meal for us. There was so much choice on the food and drinks menus. We had the sharing platter and the prawn and calamari duo to start, we shared it between the 5 of us, then we all had a main, and all the portions were very generous. We even shared some puddings between us as well as the food was just too good not to. The staff were lovely and right there when we needed them. If we are ever in the area again we will definitely go back. A definite must if you are in the area.
It's great to hear about and travel to accommodations that cater to both humans and their furry friends. The Village Inn is a fantastic place to visit, especially for dog owners. Having a dog menu is a thoughtful touch that shows they value their four-legged customers. I'm sure many dog owners appreciate being able to share meals with their pets while enjoying delicious human food for themselves. Offering dog-friendly cottages is an excellent feature, as it provides a cozy and private space for guests with dogs. This allows them to have a comfortable stay while ensuring their canine friends also feel welcome and at ease.
